Saturday Outreach

Today our team split up into 3 groups for outreach. One group went door to door with surveys, one group painted at a local elementary school, and the group I was in held a block party at a Habitat for Humanity neighborhood. We had snow cones, face painting, a moonbounce, and various games. The outreach was so much fun and I feel like it went really well. We had about 50 kids come as well as some of their parents. Thanks to our two spanish speaking staff members we were able to a communicate with a lot of hispanic families.

Along with sharing the gospel, the main purpose of the outreach was to advertise for a backyard bible club we will be having there in the mornings next week. There was a good response and it seems like a lot of kids are going to want to come. Please pray for the backyard bible club next week and for opportunities to share the gospel with members of the community. Please also pray that if they are not involved in a church they would give Crosspoint Bluffton a try.
