Sisters Shoot

I was able to go to my hometown (Annapolis, MD) this past week for Thanksgiving. It was so fun to spend time with family and friends and eat amazing food (Thanksgiving is by far my favorite meal of the year!). I had the opportunity to take pictures for my best friend Ashley and her two sisters, Haley and Kylie, for their family Christmas card. I just got a new 55mm f1.8 lens and so I was excited to get some practice and try it out!

Ashley and her family have meant so much to me over the past several years of my life. Ashley has been a constant friend in my life since the first grade! She's someone I know will always be there for me and who knows me better than most other people. She makes me laugh often and always welcomes me into her home and her life. I love you friend and I'm incredibly thankful for your friendship.

I love this picture! I just wish I had focused it more so Ash wasn't blurry. I have a lot learn (esp. with my new lens)!

Hanging out on the boat Ashley recently inherited from her grandfather!

They wanted a picture on their couch with all their doggies! :)

Meredyth's Visit to Annapolis for Thanksgiving

Meredyth came home with me to Annapolis over Thanksgiving. We had a great time and I had so much fun showing her around my home town! All of my friends in Clemson have heard all about Annapolis. It was nice to combine my "Clemson world" and my "Annapolis world." I am thankful for a friend like Meredyth!

Meredyth's first experience trying Thai food. We went to one of my favorite restaurants in Annapolis, Lemongrass.

The Blue Angels

I've gotten a little backed up on my posting. Last week (5/18-5/22) was commissioning week at the Naval Academy for all of the Navy graduates. Every commissioning week the Blue Angels fly. Here's a few pictures from watching them fly last week:
