I hate goodbyes. I tend to avoid them or to not really think about the implication of what they mean. As I get older, I'm starting to see that goodbyes are a necessary part of life. God brings people into our lives for seasons. I'm learning to be thankful for the fact that I even have friends that I don't want to see leave. I'm also learning the value of friends who will last for a lifetime. The Lord has truly blessed me.

Amber is moving to Charlotte and Meredyth to Summerville and then Louisville. I've had the privilege of living with each of these girls at different times. I'm so thankful for the five years I've had with each of them and for the extra year we've been able to have together in Clemson. Tonight was our last time together before I leave for in India and I had so much fun reminiscing with these girls and sharing memories from our awkward freshman year all the way through our senior year!
